Learn More About Pastor Zimmerman

Born on December 1, 1941, Chuck Zimmerman grew up in Dayton, OH, where he began playing the guitar at the age of 9. His singing and recording career started at the age of 15. Though Chuck dreamed of becoming a rock and roll star, the Lord had a different plan for him. Through the next 11 years, the Lord worked in Chuck’s heart, drawing him to salvation.

Just before his 27th birthday, Chuck gave his heart to Christ and was baptized. He joined a Baptist church and started singing in a gospel quartet. In January 1974, God called him to preach, and in April 1974, he was called to be Pastor of the Huber Heights Baptist Temple.

Huber Heights Baptist Temple was started in November 1972. Our worshippers met in homes and schools for many months. Through the Lord's grace as well as the labor and sacrifice of His people, we now have 4 church buildings on 7 acres of land.

The Lord has enabled us to see many souls saved, and lives changed. We give Him all the glory. Our desire is to serve the families in Huber Heights, and help them grow spiritually. If you do not have a church home, please call 937-236-5883 today.
